I am a fan of Thao’s expertise and efficiency when making recipes. I focus so much when I’m in the kitchen and lose track of time. Having to use whole eggs and the chocolate as base recipe makes baking these so much easier! It tastes divine as well! It’s moist and sort of fudgy. This will definitely be my go-to recipe. Although baking experience can be beneficial, you don’t need any baking skills to take this course. We will teach you the baking foundation knowledge you’ll need.

Thickened cream is cream that has 35% milk fat and contains a thickening additive such as gelatin, vegetable gum or other modifying agents. Thickened cream is also known as heavy cream or whipping cream. 

The texture of this chocolate cake is in between a mud cake and a sponge cake. Not too light but not too heavily dense either. It’s the perfect building block for tall, structured buttercream cakes. It is also sturdy enough to be used underneath fondant.

Yes, the recipes are the same. How efficient is that! The only difference is the oven setting and baking temperature.
